ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Mobile Frontend Engineer (React/React Native) to join our Product Engineering team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

As an Engineer at Ada, you’ll work in a cross-functional delivery team of between 4-7 other developers (designers and engineers). You’ll be responsible for crafting client-side applications using React / React Native
While the client-side applications will be your core responsibility, we believe in cross-functional people as well as cross-functional teams, so there are always opportunities to influence decisions, support other engineers within your team, and work across the full stack
You’ll be a part of an environment that allows you to shape both the technical vision and culture in a growing team
Ada’s mobile app has already seen great success on a global scale, live in several countries
As part of the team, you’ll be helping to create the future for our consumer products
With our world-class Symptom Assessment engine at the centre, you will be building on the existing capability of Ada through the creation of expanded health profiles, wellness, and proactive health solutions - helping to deliver a vision of personalized health for everyone

WHAT YOU WILL BRING :

You have a background in web or native mobile app development
You have experience with React Native and an understanding of modern JavaScript
Native app development experience is a big advantage
We think that you’ll learn the necessary tools on the job, but additional experience with our stack is a bonus. These technologies and tools include React, React Native, Redux, Redux-Saga, Styled Components, Webpack, Xcode/Obj-C, Android Studio/Java, Node.js, Express, Fastlane, and more
You are fluent in English, spoken and written
